Initial Deployment
When initially deploying Workday, you will work with a Workday Service Partner – this is mandatory. Many
small to medium size companies will utilize the Launch or Launch Express deployment model. The basis for
this approach is utilizing a predefined functional scope which enables the client to go-live the fastest.
These certified partners are responsible for the on-time, on-budget deployment of Workday following a
prescriptive approach.
HR Elevate was born out of the realization that many companies need something more. Once signed, many
customers are not fully prepared to take their seat at the deployment table. That chasm can exist for many
reasons, but primarily is caused by underestimating or not fully understanding the pre-work that should
occur prior to the Workday Service Partner kicking off the project or the level of participation that will
be required by them to secure the right value from the implementation. Enter the Customer
Partner/Advocate. I am a veteran at successful Workday deployments - your boots on the ground advocate,
adviser and thought partner. I believe the investment you make in our services now will save you money in
the long run. How? I know the questions you should be asking yourself, long before you are required to
make a final decision. This helps limit unwelcome surprises. I’ve been through our own Workday
implementations and have lived through the most common pitfalls. Our role is to help you navigate around
these areas avoiding wasting precious time reconfiguring and retesting. I know what core data and the
quality of that data can make or break your deployment. Redesigning foundational data after go-live can be
costly and disruptive. I have extensive experience supporting Workday, which is always at the forefront of
all design decisions. Requirements aren’t always fully articulated or understood. I work with you to fully
understand the business requirements to ensure they are correctly translated into the appropriate
technical solution. I will work directly with your Service Partner to ensure I are exactly where I should
be in terms of timing and scope. I speak Workday. With any rapid deployment, it’s easy to get lost in the
terminology, which can lead to costly misunderstandings. Not to worry, I can translate anything this isn’t
fully understood. And finally, I am battle tested. I have risen through the ranks and have earned our seat
at the Workday deployment table.
Preparation through Go-Live
I’ll discuss your data, especially the foundational data that will be the backbone of your Workday system.
I’ll take stock of what you currently have in place and develop realistic roadmaps for your deployment and
beyond. There’s a reason you are moving from your current system and I’ll work together to prevent taking
a lift-and-shift approach, which results in bringing old issues to the new system. I’ll discuss and help
you determine your team, data migration, legacy systems, support model and more.
Once the project has begun, I will provide project oversight as Ill as augment your existing team in
completing all required tasks. Knowing your plans, processes and data as Ill as the vast array of Workday
touchpoints, I will ensure cross-functional symmetry and informed decisions. And when and if the
unexpected occurs, I can quickly assess the impact and prepare a mitigation plan to reduce any project
disruption. As you are becoming more familiar with Workday and the amazing functionality that is
available, I will help you continue to hone the post-go-live roadmap, ensuring a realistic plan that
prioritizes the functionality your company needs and wants the most. Lastly, I will work to continuously
upskill your internal team preparing them for self-sufficiency.
At go-live, the Workday Service Partner implementation team will most likely start the process of rolling
off the project. In fact, at this point, any requirement to engage a Workday Service Partner ceases to
exist. However, consistency is vital at this phase. Someone that knows the reasoning behind your design
decisions, is familiar with your data, understands the exceptions and areas to watch. HR Elevate provides
that consistency. I will work with you to stabilize the system, continue to educate, provide post-go-live
optimization and when the time is right, start executing against your roadmap.
Post Deployment
Whether I have been with you from the beginning of your Workday journey or just joining your team, I are
committed to first understanding your entire Workday configuration. Having a breadth and depth of
knowledge in multiple functional areas allows us to understand the touchpoints, the intricacies, of what
makes your implementation unique. From there, we are well positioned to discuss your continuing Workday
journey, whether it’s optimization, redesign, functionality augmentation or the rollout of new SKUs.
Wrapping it up

assuring that the time and money you’ve spent yield the results you are looking for. My goal is to provide
you the security in knowing that the value you expect is achieved with minimal friction or disruption.
